Cut a section of kraft paper off the roll, making sure that it’s large enough to cover the surface of your individual gift boxes. Wrap each gift box entirely with the cut Kraft Paper using tape.

Start by cutting or pulling off a section of leaves from the bamboo garland. Lay the leafy bunch flat on top of a plain wrapped gift box, and secure it to the surface of the box by wrapping a piece of cut natural jute cording all the way around the leaves and the box itself. Knot the cording along the bottom of the box to hide it, and then you’re done!

The second minimalist wrapping idea incorporates the traditional idea of a bow and gift tag, but plays up the idea of natural textures and soft finishes like leather and burlap.
First, cut a piece of brown faux leather off the spool. Note that an extra long piece of leather is best to get all the way around your box. The exact amount will depend on the size of your gift box. Lay the cut leather ribbon on top of your box, pull the ribbon down over the sides of the box, and then flip the box over. Pull the ribbon together so that it meets in the middle along the bottom of the box, and then twist the ribbon together so that you make a cross. Bring the ribbon down the opposite sides of the box and flip it back over. Tie the leather in a bow at the center top of the box, and trim off the excess ribbon. To recreate the look, start by cutting individual lengths of metallic washi tape. Make sure that the cut tape pieces are long enough to wrap all the way around your box. Lay your first length of tape on top of the gift box, and press it into place. Pull the tape taut along the sides of the box, pressing firmly into place. Flip the box over and press the tape along the bottom of the box so it meets in the middle. Cut away any excess tape and discard it. Repeat with multiple pieces of tape from there.

The final trio of wrapped gifts work as a coordinated set thanks to similar textures and colors, so consider using all three minimalist wrapping methods for a collection of presents that your loved ones will love to receive!
