Wipe off the bottom of each plate and the top of your candlestick holders. Now, you are ready to glue. Squeeze a thin line of E6000 glue around the top of the candlestick holder. Then last, add the clear plastic plate to the top. Make sure you center the plate on top of the candlestick holder. Press down firmly. You can even place a heavy object (like a can of beans) on top to hold it down for a few minutes.

Set the cake stand aside and let it dry overnight. In the morning, the glue will be dry and hardened. Now you have the cutest mini cake stand...and all it took was a few easy steps.

Now just add your mini cakes. I used 7" round mini cakes for the DIY cake stands. Frost them up...with the Best Butter Cream frosting. Now you can add some fun touches like this name pennant banner.

Using the Pennant Flag Paper ribbon and a thin marker, write the child's name, a letter on each mini flag. Leave one blank pennant flag on each end. Tape or glue the end pennants to a thin black straw. Stick each end in the cake sides. Your little party guests will love to have their name on the top of their cake. We loved using Pink Chocolate Candies to decorate the cakes.
