Open each mini composition book that you'd like to use and place flat on a paintable surface outdoors. You'll want the book open so that the front and back covers are both showing.
Use various shades of green and blue spray paint to paint the covers of each mini composition book. Let dry completely. Depending on the colors you use, a second coat of spray paint might be necessary.
Once dry, place an alphabet stencil over a mini notebook where you'd like the letters to be.
