Let’s start by making everyone’s favorite – pom-poms!!! Using a pom-pom maker, wrap the yarn around each side of the pom maker. Use a pair of sharp scissors to carefully cut the middle of the yarn. Cut a separate 12” length of yarn and tie it around the pom maker. Remove the yarn from the pom maker and trim with scissors to shape it into a ball. The more yarn you cut off, the more dense your pom-pom will look.

Thread one end of the yarn tails from the pom-pom through a large-headed needle. Sew the yarn onto a corner of the Canvas Photo Pillow Cover. Tie the pom onto the corner of the pillow. You can use a drop of hot glue to make sure the pom-pom stays in place.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 to complete all four corners of the pillow.

Using a small round paintbrush and black acrylic paint, dry brush words onto the pillow cover. We chose words that meant ‘love’ in different languages. You can easily look these up on the web.

Once those words are dry, use a Gold Metallic Sharpie™ to draw a heart in the middle of the clear pocket on the pillow.

Cut out 4-5” hearts from cardstock and write fun love notes or notes of encouragement on them. Just have fun!

This is a really fun gift for your loved one on Valentine’s Day or your anniversary. You could even change out the yarn color to match your home's décor and help spread the love every day!
