Start by removing the container lids and the plastic centers of the DIY Mini Containers. The plastic pieces should pop right out of the lid with a slight bit of pressure. Paint the lid and the container to match your party's theme. I chose to paint the lids and containers each a different color for added interest, but you could paint them the same color if you'd like.

While the paint on the containers is drying, begin making the lip gloss by measuring 1 cup of coconut oil and 6 tablespoons of beeswax. Combine them in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave them in 30-second intervals until melted, stirring well in between each interval.

Set the coconut oil and beeswax aside to cool, and then mix about 1 tablespoon of water with three packets of pink lemonade. Add slightly more water if it's too thick and doesn't dissolve.

Combine the pink lemonade with the coconut oil and beeswax then mix well.
Optional: Add a few drops of essential oil for a bit of a sweeter flavor. I used cotton candy flavor which smells divine and adds to the taste nicely.

Pour equal amounts of lip gloss into the containers and let cool. Hint: the more beeswax you use, the more firm the lip-gloss will be.
