First, paint a Flipside Chalk Board, 24" x 36", Black with 2-3 coats of pink spray paint (or your color of choice).

Once dry use masking tape to create an angel across each item. Then paint one side of the masking tape with white paint to create a color block.
Once dry, gently remove the masking tape.

Once dry, measure out (evenly spaced) the placement of your lights round the outside edge of the chalkboard and mark with a pencil.
Tip: Measure approx 1" in from the edge and space holes 2"- 3" apart depending on the number of lights you have available.
Then use a drill to make the holes.

Then remove the lights from the "#" Marquee Light-Up Kit. Push the lights through the holes from back to front until the entire string of lights is complete.
Tip: Use the "#" as this has the most lights in the pack, 20 per pack.
Tip: Use masking tape to attach the battery pack onto the back of the chalkboard.

Next, secure the light bulbs from the "#" Marquee Light-Up Kit onto the lights.
Tip: If any of the bulbs feel loose add a small amount of hot glue to secure the bulb in place.
Note: Skip the 3 holes at the top left of the sign, do not add bulbs to these holes. See next step.

In the top left 3 holes push the stem of blush florals through the holes (front to back) instead of lights. Secure in place with hot glue.

Next, starting from the top of the sign add several strips of Gold Foil Print Washi Tape onto the sign. Create different lengths and angles using my sign as a guide or to your preference.

Then add a strip of black washi tape next to each strip of gold tape.

Next, add the bar sign lettering and bold black icons. I cut these on a cutting machine using black vinyl.
If you do not have a cutting machine: Print the design onto card stock and cut and paste to the sign. Download the FREE template with "Stock the Bar" and Bar Icons HERE.

Once the letters and bar icons are complete hang the sign using a picture hook or removable picture hanging strips.
