Begin by removing the package of sequins from inside the heart boxes and giving the outsides and the lids a coat of red paint. Set aside to dry.

Download the Free Ladybug Templates here! Once the boxes have fully dried, print the templates on cardstock and cut the ladybug wing and face template and position the heart shaped wings on the lid of the box with the pointed ends lined up. Trace the bottom portion of the heart onto the lid with a pencil. Next, place the face shape onto the pointed end of the box and trace the curved end onto the box.

Now carefully fill in the traced sections with black acrylic paint using a thin paintbrush.

Next it's time to give the little ladybugs their spots! Using a hole punch, punch about 14 spots from a piece of black cardstock paper. Adhere the spots to the red portion of the ladybug with a hot glue gun.

Once the little ladybugs have taken shape, fill them with candy or treats for your guests. Start by adding a bit of pink Easter grass paper shred to make the inside more festive and then add in cute black and white polka dot buttermints. For a little extra girly flair, add a self-adhesive flower to each of the boxes!

Finally, add the adorable little ladybug favors to your table decor for little hands to easily pick up and take home after the party ends!
