
Cut out green felt using leaf templates. Cut 15 large leaves out of felt (set 10 aside to use in another part of this costume), 10 medium and 10 small leaves. Download the Free Leaf Template Printable Here!



Using a glue gun, line a bead of hot glue around the bottom of the craft roll. Attach the small felt leaves around the bottom of the roll making sure they are sticking to the hot glue.
Add more hot glue towards the middle of the roll and attach the large leaves. Next, add hot glue to the top of the roll and tuck in the large leaves. Fill in any open spaces with extra leaves.



Attach felt leaf craft roll to a black fabric headband using hot glue and allow to dry.

Fold one yard of yellow fleece in half. Place shirt of the recipients on top of the fleece and measure how long the shirt is from shoulder to hem and then add a few inches. Cut out the fabric once you have your measurements.

Fold the fabric into fourths and cut a semi circle out of the left side corner of the fabric. Unfold the fabric and you now have the neck hole.

Using a glue gun, hot glue the remaining large felt leaves around the front of the neck.






Using a black Sharpie marker, add small details to the fabric. Now let's put it all together!
I tie dyed white capris and a tshirt green to go with the whole pineapple theme or the child can wear plain green pants and a shirt. I just love the fun look of tie dye!
