Start by covering your bulletin board or wall with the fadeless cloud paper. Make sure that your clouds are running in the natural direction before cutting. No one wants sideways clouds on their walls! To avoid wrinkles have a friend help you unroll the paper as one of you staples it to the bulletin board.

Take green construction paper and use a pencil to draw grass through the middle, once cut you can use both sides for grass, so there is no waste. Repeat with a lighter lime green color as well. Once you have cut out several of each, set aside. These will be layered onto your board next.

Start at the top of where you want your grass line to be. First, staple the darker green paper to your board. For the next row use the lighter color. Alternate colors til you reach the bottom of your board. Once finished add your favorite border trim to your board. I love layering the Schoolgirl Style Hello Sunshine Poms and the swiss dot borders together for this board.

Use colorful paper lanterns to create the hot air balloons. Just assemble your favorite colors according to package instructions. Add four strings of black and white baker's twine to the bottom. Make sure your strings are all the same length so that your basket won't hang crooked. Tie the string to each corner of a chipwood basket.

Make your own hot air balloon garland by using the Schoolgirl Style Hello Sunshine Tassels Border. Cut out tassels and set aside. You could also use Hello Sunshine Tassel Cutouts instead but they are an inch bigger than the tassels on the bulletin board border and felt a little large for my baskets. Tape tassels onto jute string. Tie these onto the strings of the hot air balloons. The colorful garland adds some fun to your colorful hot air balloons.

Hang your hot air balloons from the ceiling using fishing line. Simply attach the fishing line to a paperclip to attach the hot air balloon to a ceiling tile. You can also use tissue poms, acordian balls or honeycomb balls to create half hot air balloons that you staple directly to your board. This will make it look like there are balloons of many different sizes. Just add the chipwood basket and staple it directly to your board below your honeycomb balls.

Now your board is almost done. Just add in the final touches. A colorful welcome sign from the Schoolgirl Style line will finish off the look perfectly. I also hung some felt banners and construction paper awnings to my existing cardboard camper.
