
To start your lei using the craft kit, run the yellow string through one of the spacers and tie a double knot. This will prevent your flowers from falling off the end of the string while you build your lei.

Thread the other end of the string through a darning needle with a blunt end. Then poke the needle through the pre-cut hole in the center of flower.

Continue stringing on flowers and spacers. You can layer several flowers on top of each other and then add a spacer if you want, or do a single flower followed by a spacer. You can mix up the size of the flowers too!



Continue making your lei until it is long enough to wrap around your neck. Finish by tying a knot around another spacer at the end, similar to Step 1.
