Making your own patterned burlap ribbon is fun and super easy to do. For these grapevine bunny wreaths, we thought polka dots would give them just the right amount of whimsy. To make the dots, dip a small round dauber into white acrylic paint. Pounce the dauber along the length of burlap ribbon to create a fun pattern. Allow time for the paint to dry.

Once the paint is dry, tie the burlap into a bow and glue the bow onto a Grapevine Rabbit Wreath using hot glue. Embellish the wreath with flowers or follow the directions below to create a bunny wreath with egg-stra special personality.

Use a sanding block to lightly sand the Pastel Plastic Eggs. Paint the plastic eggs with acrylic paint and a flat bristled paint brush. It is best to try to either match the hue of the plastic egg or paint the egg a darker color than the plastic. This will ensure that the plastic egg color does not easily show through the paint.

Once the eggs are dry, mix dark brown paint and water together in a 50:50 ratio. Use a fan paint brush to flick brown paint speckles onto the egg.

Glue the painted plastic eggs and Green Moss to the Grapevine Bunny Wreath and finish it off with a burlap bow. We also added a few leaves cut from cardstock to give it some extra texture.

These rustic bunnies are now ready to hop right onto your front door, or you can pair them with our DIY Easter Tin Signs to create a fun gallery wall.
