Cut a 5×5″ square from your card stock paper. Cut a strip of card stock that is the width of your paper for its length and 3″ wide. Roll the strip of paper up to form a cylinder shape. Hot glue it together.
Place hot glue around the rim of the cylinder shape. Place your 5×5″ square on top and press lightly until glue cools.
Turn the cap upside down on the square end. Take a small piece of ribbon and hot glue to the inside of the bottom of your cap. This will attach the cap to the headband in the next step. Glue both sides of the ribbon to the inner sides of the cylinder shape; making sure the ribbon is tight, no slack.
Flip the cap over. Place a dot of glue in the center of the 5×5″ square top. Put the top loop of your tassel onto the hot glue dot. Glue some mini bright flowers on top. This should hold your tassel in place.
Place hot glue on the ribbon on the inside of your cap. Immediately stick to the headband.
That’s it!!! Aren’t these graduation cap headbands the cutest! Ella and I had so much fun making it. Congratulations to all you graduates!
