First, map out the placement of the holes on a Grass Green Rainbow Designer Mat™. If you can't find a green mat you can always use this Blue Mat and cover it with a Green Plastic Tablecloth. Use an American Crafts™ Permanent Chalk Marker to trace around the bottom of a Serve with Love Snack Paper Bowl onto the Grass Green Rainbow Designer Mat™. These will turn into your putting holes. Next, use scissors or a cutting blade to puncture a small hole (on the trace outline) in the top layer of the mat. Cut the entire hole out and remove the internal stuffing of the mat.

Next, create the putting hole inserts. Take the holes out of the Mini Golf Set 6 Assorted Colors and spray paint them pale pink (or another color to coordinate with your palette of choice). Cut the tops off the required number of Serve with Love Snack Paper Bowls. The bowls will be inserted into the pink putting holes so that the rim of the cup sits firmly in the putting hole with no rim over the hole. Cut down to approximately under the words "serve" to achieve this.

Insert the cut bowl into the pink putting hole rims so that the rim of the cup sits firmly in the putting hole with no rim over the hole. Adjust slightly using scissors if necessary. Place the holes with cups into the mat. Ensure the flatter edge of the holes face the same way.

Next, download the FREE printable golf flags here. Print and cut out then glue each flag to a Blue Striped Paper Straw. Use scissors to cut a small hole so the flag can be inserted into the green.

Add an optional monogram to the top of the golf course (mat). I cut mine out in white vinyl using my Cricut™. You could also use a chalk marker, stencil or large adhesive alphabet stickers to achieve the same look. Punch a small hole above the monogram with scissors. Insert a Small Celebration Flag into the hole.

Now we'll create a ramp up to the holes using a piece of green foam board or Flipside Green Chalk Board. Score a line across the top of the green foam board on the white side approximately 2" from the top of the board. Bend along the score and paint the exposed white foam core with Crayola® Green Acrylic Paint. Next, apply the golf pong design across the top of the board. Download the design on the fourth page of the printable here. I cut mine out in white vinyl using my Cricut™. If you don't have a Cricut you could simply print the design out in white then cut it out. You could also just trace over the design and fill in using a chalk marker.

Next, cut a square piece of Artificial Grass Roll and glue it to the bottom of the foam board. This creates a tee off pad. Use pliers to cut off the tops of the golf ball charms. These will be used as ball markers on mat.

Using 2 adhesive strips (like Command® strips), attach the ramp and tee pad to the main putting green (pad).

Next, cut up the box that was used to package the mini golf club set. Create a triangular prism the width of the mat.
Place the prism under the top end of the mat to raise it.
The entire putting green is now raised to create an upward slope for golfers to putt up to holes.

Finally, paint the mini golf clubs to match your color palette. I painted the shafts pink and the club heads & handle a metallic silver. Wrap a length of ribbon around the top of the putting head to finish them off. You are now ready to play! Be sure to have some glasses of prosecco at the ready! Take it in turns to putt a golf ball (these come with the mini golf set) into a hole, if you're successful, the other team must drink a glass of prosecco. Play until one team's glasses are empty and the other team declares victory.
