Add an even, thick layer of Mod Podge to the front of a wood jack-o'-lantern using a foam brush.

Place the jack-o'-lantern on a paper plate and sprinkle a generous amount of glitter over the Mod Podge. I find that larger, coarser glitter like copper glitter works better than fine glitter for this project. It creates such a beautiful sparkle! I also used the purple and green glitters from this premium glitter shaker set.

Shake off the excess glitter by gently tapping the jack-o-lantern on its side against the paper plate. You'll want to funnel this excess glitter back into the jar so you can reuse it! If there are any bare spots on the front of the jack-o-lantern, add a little more Mod Podge to the spot and cover with glitter. Let dry completely.

To display your jack-o-lantern, slot it upright into the wood stand and place a tea light candle in a glass votive holder behind it. You can also use a battery-operated candle but I found that true candles put off the best jack-o'-lantern glow! Just be sure to protect the flame by placing it inside a glass votive and keeping it a safe distance away from the jack-o'-lantern.
