Place a white tote bag on a paper-covered surface. Be sure your table is covered, as paint will extend the edges of the tote bag. Place a piece of cardboard inside the tote bag to keep the paint from seeping through to the back of the tote bag.
Using the tropical acrylic paint set, squeeze orange, yellow, pink, blue and purple paint onto a paint palette.
Dip the tip of a chubby paint brush into yellow paint and with an up and down motion, dab the paint onto the tote bag in varying rough shapes.
Using the same up and down technique, dab the blue paint on to the bag in varying rough shapes. Overlap the blue paint a little bit with the yellow paint.
Continue this same technique with the pink, purple and orange paint until the entire tote bag is covered. Let the bag fully dry.
Cut the stretchy cording from a foam dinosaur mask and then embellish the mask with lots of colorful self-adhesive rhinestone jewels.
Using hot glue, attach the sparkly foam mask to the front center of the painted tote bag.
Clip two hibiscus hair clips to each handle of the tote bag where it meets the bag.
They're done! How cute are they? These bags make amazing party favors or you can have each guest make their own during a Girly Dinosaur Party. Be sure to check out the Girly Dinosaur Party for lots of inspiration, and don't forget my Tie-Dye Dinosaur Cookies!
