For the gold pineapples, cover the stems with plastic bags and secure with a rubber band.

Spray paint the bottom of the pineapple with metallic gold spray paint. Let dry completely.

For the pineapple flower vase, cut the top off of a pineapple using a sharp knife.

Still using a sharp knife, cut around the inside edge of the fruit. Stick the knife directly into the pineapple core and make two cuts in a criss-cross down through the core. This should help loosen it up a bit. Using a spoon and a sharp knife, very carefully begin to work the fruit and core out of the pineapple. I ended up working my way about 1/3 of the way down.

Cut flower blooms and baby's breath so that they will lay nicely in the pineapple. No need to add any water to the pineapple vase; your flowers should stay throughout the duration of your party. Stick fun tropical extras into your pineapple vase like bright pineapple stir sticks and a flamingo pinwheel.

Arrange your gold pineapples and pineapple flower vases along the center of your party table. To see how I styled the rest of this table, visit my Tropical Baby Shower post. Be sure to check out the special Pineapple Slushies I made for this party as well!
