Find two pieces of your ferns and place them end to end. This would look amazing with wildflowers, eucalyptus, branches or even faux greenery or flowers. There are so many possibilities.

Wrap a piece of scotch tape around the center to hold them together.

Cut your banner’s fishing line right after the “R” in Mr, and the before the “M” in Mrs. This will leave fishing line on either end. Tie each end to the fern, so your letters will hang the length you would like.

I chose to use packing tape to secure my fern to the back of my chair. These are not heavy, so one piece was plenty. At this point, my letters were hanging a little too low for my liking, so I just readjusted the fishing line on the fern stems.

To cover up the point where your branches are attached to the chair, cut a good length of ribbon and wrap it around the chair and tie with a pretty bow. I left the ends long to soften the bow.

I really love the way these turned out. The greenery really looks beautiful against the gold glitter of the letters, and it really dresses up the chairs. You can see my full Jewel Tone Wedding Tablescape and my DIY’s for Watercolor Coasters and Decadent Chocolate Truffles.
