Trace your circle shape onto your felt square. Repeat for as many as needed. Cut out.
Cut a piece of pipe cleaner just a little shorter than the diameter of your circle. Add a line of Tacky Glue.
Glue down your pipe cleaner. Let dry.
Type or hand write your own “fortunes.” I shared the date and time of my dinner party. Cut into strips. Roll your fortune around a pencil leaving a “tail” to stick out. Lay it in the center of your felt circle. Fold the circle in half along the pipe cleaner edge and then slightly bend in half to create the fortune cookie shape.
Fill your take out box with a little metallic shred and place your fortune cookie inside. I hope your guests love opening up this fun invitation as much as mine did!
