To make the Egg Garland Embroidery Hoop, paint 4 of the Flat Wood Eggs with acrylic paint and a flat bristled paint brush. Allow time for the paint to dry.
Cut 4 small strips of felt. Glue a length of twine to the back of the eggs with hot glue and a felt strip making sure to adhere the felt strip high on the egg. Glue the egg garland onto a 12” Wooden Embroidery Hoop.
Use hot glue to adhere clumps of moss to the bottom of the embroidery hoop.
Glue a length of burlap ribbon to the top of the embroidery hoop to use as a hanger.
Cut the sides of a Natural Canvas Bag so that you have one large piece of fabric. Unscrew the 9” Embroidery Hoop and place the inner ring on a flat surface. Place the cut canvas bag on top of the inner ring and insert the outer ring onto the inner ring, screwing the hoop to hold in place. Cut off the excess canvas, leaving about 1” from the embroidery hoop. Use hot glue to glue the excess canvas around the back of the hoop.
Download the Free Printable Bunny Template here then print and cut out. Trace the bunny template onto a sheet of Craft Foam and cut out. Using a flat bristled paint brush and acrylic paint, apply paint to one side of the bunny. Stamp the bunny onto the canvas and fill in any places not ‘stamped’ with paint. Once the paint is dry, use hot glue to attach a white pom-pom to each of the bunnies.
Use gold acrylic paint to make a brush stroke directly below the last bunny and allow to dry. Use a Sharpie™ to write "Hip-Hop" or any Easter message you choose on top of the dry gold brush stroke.
Now let's make the Chalkboard Bunny Embroidery Hoop. Unscrew the 5” embroidery hoop and place the inner ring on a flat surface. Place a piece of burlap on top of the inner ring and insert the outer ring onto the inner ring, screwing the hoop to hold in place. Cut off the excess burlap, leaving about 1” from the embroidery hoop. Use hot glue to glue the excess burlap around the back of the hoop.
Print and cut out the paper bunny template. Trace the bunny template onto a sheet of Craft Foam and cut out. Using a flat bristled paint brush and acrylic paint, apply paint to one side of the bunny. Stamp the bunny onto the burlap and fill in any places not ‘stamped’ with paint.
Glue pom-poms around the wooden embroidery hoop. Tie a pretty ribbon bow and glue it onto the burlap bunny.
Group all three hoops together to create a fun mini gallery wall or pick one to make and nestle it amongst your Easter décor. Either way, your Easter décor will be hoppin’ once you add these to the mix!
