
Separate your embroidery hoops. They come with one inside another. You can find these at your local craft store. Spray paint your embroidery hoops gold.

Cut your ribbon into pieces. You can place the ribbon next to your embroidery hoop to determine the length you want the ribbon to be. You will be doubling over your ribbon. Longer is better, because you can cut off the extra after assembling. Fold ribbon in half and place under hoop.
