First, remove the black cord from the Adult's Classic Cowboy Hats and the blue bandanna from the Adult's Western Cowboy Hats with Blue Bandana using scissors. I used 10 hats for my chandelier which worked well over a standard 6ft party table. You will definitely have additional hats leftover to decorate and use around the party and for the guests to wear or take home after the party.

Paint a selection of cowboy hats pink using spray paint or pink acrylic paint. I also left some hats unpainted and natural so my chandelier still felt a bit rustic. I ended up painting 4 of the 10 hats I used.

Add a horseshoe accent to a few of your cowboy hats. First, paint a DIY Unfinished Wood Horseshoe pink then glue hydrangea blooms to the bottom of the horseshoe. Glue the finished horseshoe to the front of the hat.

Add a strip of pink bandanna around a few of your hats. First, cut and tear several 1"- 2" strips of Light Pink Bandanas. You'll need about 2 strips to reach around the entire hat. Tie the strips together at the front and back of the hat. Be sure to use a tight and small knot at the front of the hat. For the knot at the back let excess fabric hang from the knot and flow down from the back of the hat.

Remove a single flower from the Faux Floral Bouquet and push the flower stem through the front of the hat above the pink bandanna to cover your knot. Glue in place if desired.

Play around and create a different look for each hat. For some hats just use the flowers from a Blush Floral Bouquet without a bandana trim. For others, add greenery and other floral accents to the band. Each hat can be distinctly unique!

Once all of the hats are complete, cut a small hole through the brim of each hat back. Next, measure out the length of ribbon needed to hang the hat from the ceiling to the desired height above the table. Ensure each length of ribbon and hat height varies. Thread each length of ribbon through a hole and secure in place with a double bow. You can even use personalized ribbon for a truly one-of-a-kind look!

Secure removable hooks to the ceiling in a grouped but random formation. I suggest using hooks that are flexible and can be pulled down to hang from the ceiling, as pictured. Tie each hat to an individual hook. Place the longer ribbon lengths in the center of the grouping, working your way out and adding shorter lengths to the outer edges.

Once complete, enjoy the squeals of your little cowgirls as they stare at this truly cool DIY chandelier!
