DIY Colorful Confetti Easter Eggs

It’s nearly Easter and we are beginning to think of ways to celebrate this glorious holiday. We typically have a formal Easter dinner and spend the afternoon decorating and dying Easter eggs as a family. Every year we try something different; a unique technique, a fun new method of coloring or use new materials to adhere to our DIY Easter eggs. This year we are going to play with confetti! Lots and lots of confetti!

15 to 25 min. Beginner

Step 1

Layer multiple colors of tissue paper on top of each other. Cut into thin strips. At the end of those strips cut four or five, 1″ slits.

Step 2

Cut those slits horizontally, making DIY square confetti.

Step 3

Cover the DIY Wonderful Wood Eggs with Mod Podge® using the sponge brush.

Step 4

Dip the painted egg in the homemade confetti.

Step 5

Once the first layer of Mod Podge® is dry, cover the confetti egg with another layer of Mod Podge® and then let dry.
