Begin by removing the protective film from the hexagon place cards. Working on a diagonal angle, brush on three stripes of paint that coordinate with your color palette. I chose two shades of coral with a contrasting mustard yellow in the center. The stripes can be as opaque, or transparent, as you would like.
Next, choose several maple leaf shaped leaves from the mix of assorted decorative fall leaves and paint them yellow. You may need to add a few layers of paint to ensure they are fully covered. You could also leave them bare for a more natural look.
Paint one large fall leaf per place card in varying shades to coordinate with your theme. These will sit under your place cards when finished so keeping them a different shade than your smaller leaf is best.
Once the paint on the hexagon place cards has dried, add a bit of glam to each by adding gold foil. To apply the foil, simply brush on a bit of Mod Podge® using a paint brush, and then lay the gold foil directly on top. Let the foil sit for several minutes to allow the Mod Podge® to dry, and then using a dry brush, gently brush off the excess foil.
Add personalization to each of the small maple leaves by either writing each guest's name using a paint marker, or if you have a cutting machine, cut each name out of charcoal grey vinyl.
Finally, place a large painted fall leaf in the center of each of your place settings and layer a Color Blocked Leaf Place Card on top of each to designate seating assignments during your Fall Pastel Bridal Brunch!
