First print out the free tracing template and place it in the desired position under the Clear Acrylic Sign (make sure you remove the protective film first).
Next, trace the "Clever Little Fox", fox face and fox paw prints on the template using a permanent chalk pen.
Alternatively, if you have a cutting machine (e.g. Cricut), turn the PDF into a JPG and cut the design out onto white vinyl.

Next, turn the acrylic over and remove the protective backing film.
Using a wide foam paintbrush, paint the back of the acrylic sign with pale pink or coral paint. Use broad strokes of varying length.
Tip: DO NOT paint the entire back of the sign, leave some of the acrylic showing.
Tip: DO paint behind each of the words, fox face and paw prints so that they pop against the color.

Next, take a selection of flowers and greenery (I used peonies, hydrangeas, viburnium and fern) and wrap them together using floral wire.
Begin with a cluster of flowers at the center, then add smaller flowers and finally fern fronds as you move outwards. Once wrapped you can then adjust and bend the arrangement slightly to get the right curvature across the top of the sign.

Using green floral wire attach the flowers to the top slat of the DIY Framed Stained Wood Plank Sign. Attach in the front (center in the middle of the hanging cord) and tie the floral wire off at the back of the sign.

Use adhesive strips or Glue Dots® - XL to attach the acrylic sign to the wood sign.

The sign is now ready to hang above your dessert table. I used a command hook and hung it on top of a birch wood backdrop. What does the Fox say?!.....YAY!
Once the party is over enjoy using this sign in your little foxes bedroom.
