On a protected surface outside, spray paint a 24-inch plastic hoop gold. Use short, sweeping strokes to prevent the paint from dripping. Allow to dry completely, then flip over and spray the other side. Allow to dry.

While the paint is drying, create the oranges. Cut Orange Paper Streamers into 3.25" strips (four strips per orange). Gather the crepe paper on both ends as shown here so that the paper "cups" in the middle.

Add a small line of hot glue to the top gathered edge of one of the crepe paper strips, and secure it to the top of a styrofoam ball. Add more glue down the inside edges and center of the rest of the crepe paper strip, slowly pressing the crepe paper onto the ball from the center of the strip out to the edges. Repeat with the remaining three strips until the entire ball is covered, being sure to keep the top and bottom edges of each strip puckered.

Now it's time to make this gorgeous hoop come to life! Begin by downloading and printing this printable banner flag onto poster paper. The poster is oversized and will need to be professionally printed, then you simply cut out the banner with a pair of scissors. Next, cut the stems off of the flowers and greenery that you'd like to use. We used pink peonies and their leaves, lemons, faux greenery sprigs, and the crepe paper oranges. From here, arrange the banner, flowers, greenery, and fruit around the hoop so you can see where you'd like everything to be attached.

Use the hot glue gun to adhere the banner to the hoop. We tucked the top, folded edge of the banner under the hoop on the left side. Glue the peonies into place.

Next, position and glue the peony leaves onto the hoop, doing your best to hide the stems under the flowers and other leaves. To make sure you get an adhesion that will last, hold the stems in place until they are securely attached with hot glue.

Secure the fruit to the wreath around the flowers, then add some movement to the finished product by tucking in flowing sprigs of faux floral greenery with yellow flower buds. Now the citrus hoop wreath is all done and ready to be displayed at your Citrus and Floral Graduation Party!
