Take a Large Black Craft Noodle and cut it to the length you want your log to be using scissors or a craft knife. Cut a 4-inch square piece of kraft paper from a Kraft Paper Roll and crinkle it up in your hand. Flatten it out over the end of your noodle and adhere it to the noodle with Mod Podge Matte Acrylic Sealer. Be sure to cover the entire end with Mod Podge.
Cut Schoolgirl Style Birch Tree Bulletin Board Borders into multiple 8" strips. Starting at the end of the noodle, wrap the birch tree strips around the noodle as shown. Secure the seams with hot glue. Continue down the noodle until your entire log is covered.
Tear small pieces of white tissue paper from a Tissue Paper Sheets pack and soak them in Mod Podge. Adhere the clumps of tissue paper to the birch tree logs in various places as shown and allow to dry. This will give your faux logs some texture to make them look even more realistic!
Once the tissue paper clumps have dried, lightly brush them with black paint from the Primary Colors Acrylic Paint Set.
Repeat steps 1-4 until you have as many birch tree logs as you desire. Tie the logs together with Buffalo Plaid Ribbon to give your logs some festive flair.
