Cut the tabs off your choice of banner letters. You can do a B for Bride and G for Groom… or use your names!

Spray paint the letters gold or one of your unique wedding colors. I used a sewing pin to pin them to a white board (so they wouldn’t fly away in the breeze) and spray painted them outside.

Download and print onto regular printer paper and then cut out the two pieces. Then cut out the center piece and cut a 12″ x 4″ strip for the bow itself out of felt. These large felt sheets come in a 10 color pack!

To quickly and easily cut the bow, take the 12″ x 4″ strip of felt and fold the two edges in to meet. Then fold the piece in half. Place the pattern on the folded piece of felt following the single fold and double fold direction. Then trim the two sides.

Next, hot glue your bow together starting with the middle first. Then place a dot of glue in the middle and pinch it while drying to make a cute crease. Wrap and glue the center piece around the middle of the bow and you’re done! Cute and simple!

Glue each bow to the top of each letter.

At your reception, appoint someone to decorate the chairs for you while you’re busy getting ready. Using this awesome black and white striped gossamer roll, wrap it over the chairs and tie. Then use a sewing pin or safety pin, pin the felt bows to the gossamer fabric. Done and fabulous!

A simple and classy way to embellish your wedding reception chairs without breaking the bank! Enjoy!
