Place your power strip in the middle of the unfinished wood slat crate. Hang the cord over the top so that it can be plugged into the wall. Do not worry about this hanging out as we will cover it later.

Using washi tape decorate your phone chargers. You could use washi tape in your wedding colors or fun patterns like we did here. Make sure to include various types of phone chargers.

Plug your phone chargers into the power strip and thread through the openings in the slat crate.

Now it is time to decorate! Fill the inside of your slat crate with boxwood garland. This garland is perfect for this DIY as it is attractive and will fully cover the power strip and chargers from view.

Add pink rosebuds to the inside of your slat crate as further decoration and to cover the outlet cord.

We used our Cricut and white vinyl to create a label for the front of our power bar. You can do the same or use sticky letters.

Finish off your power bar by adding labels to each of the phone chargers. I wrapped washi tape around the ends of each charger and used a fine tip sharpie to label them. This will help your guests easily identify which cord will serve their needs.

Lastly, print out our free printable onto white cardstock and use bakers twine to hang from the slats on your crate.

Plug the power strip into the wall and your DIY charging station is ready for use at your wedding! Place next to your guest book so guests can charge up while they leave you a sweet message!
