First, let's get painting and transform the basics! I spray painted the pegboard backdrop a black and glossy lacquer. The DIY Unfinished Wood Slat Crates were painted in shiny metallics. Gold and Rose Gold. You can easily swap these colors out to what works for your color palette.
Allow these to dry completely. It took two coats for complete coverage & a glossy finish on both the pegboard and the boxes.

Add a pop of metallic to the black backdrop using Foil Leaf Sheets. I chose a silver, copper and gold foil and broke the sheets up into small pieces. I sprinkled the small pieces over the pegboard and then applied a sealant on top of the pieces using a paintbrush. Allow it to dry completely. This only took one coat.

Place the pegboard it's final position. Lay 3 of the boxes at the bottom of the pegboard.
Add the pegboard hooks to the pegboard and to the boxes - space to your preference; counting the holes make spacing simple.
Use the pegboard hooks to support top box and the Premium Plastic Rose Gold Dot Champagne Flutes. Gently ease the boxes onto at least 2 sets of hooks (one at each end of the box). The flutes only need one hook each.
Tip: Tie on the monogram tags before placing the flutes on the pegboard.

Add a small cut of black fringe to the top center of the pegboard and then place the "Champagne Bar" marble and metallic printable sign on top of this. Trim the fringe to fit.
Follow this by layering cuts of gold fringe down each side of the pegboard. By layering cuts on top of each other, the metal effect will be full and glossy.

Then layer sequin table runners under and over the bottom layer of boxes for an elegant and expensive look.
Lastly, pop the bubbly, fill the glasses and enjoy your unique Champagne Wall at your Mixed Metallic New Year's Eve Wedding!
