Once the painted horse is completely dry, prepare to add the carousel horse pole by trimming a pink paper straw into two pieces; one measuring about five inches and the other measuring about one inch. Cut as many straws as you will need to assemble the number of favors you require.

Adhere the smaller portion of the paper straw to the center of the mason jar lid using hot glue. Then, secure the painted horse by applying hot glue to its belly and place it directly over the center of the paper straw on the mason jar lid.

Add a dot of hot glue to the base of the five inch portion of the paper straw and place it on the back of the painted horse centered over the smaller piece of the paper straw.

Once the large piece of straw is dried in place, add a gold bead to the top of the straw using a dot of hot glue.

Fill your mason jar favor with a candy of your choosing. We opted for soft pink colored buttermints.

Replace the lid of the mason jar. Lastly, display your adorable carousel themed party favors at your Carousel Horse Baby Shower and enjoy! Make sure to also check out Ice Cream Cone Cupcake Recipe and the DIY Carousel Ticket Booth to complete the perfect Carousel Baby Shower!
