Lay out the DIY Unfinished Wood Pennants and gather your paint supplies including acrylic paint and foam brushes. Make sure to cover your paint surface with a cloth.
Next use washi tape to mark off the top and bottom sections. Be sure to mark off sections so the middle section is the largest and the bottom is the smallest. The idea is to replicate the sections found on candy corn.
After taping off the sections, use the foam brush to paint the top and bottom, staying within the washi tape lines. Remember to alternate the paint color order on the sections of each wood pennant to create different patterns with the yellow, white and orange acrylic paint.
After the paint in the top and bottom sections is dry, paint the middle section of each wood pennant. For each piece, use the paint color you haven't used yet.
