Remove the backing from the 12 DIY Unfinished Wood Frames and paint the frames.
Paint the first 6 frames different colors. These are the seating chart frames. Each paint color should be close to the color of the butterfly you have selected to represent each table. There are up to 12 Feather Butterfly colors to choose from.
Paint the remaining 6 frames to match the first set. You should now have 6 sets of 2 frames in the same color.

On the backing of each DIY Unfinished Wood Frames attach the specimen tag and butterfly.
Use an insect or sewing pin and push through both the tag and the butterfly. The pin will stick out from the frame and backing once mounted.
You should have 6 matching pairs of butterflies i.e. 2 purple, 2 yellow, etc.
Note: Pre-cut the specimen tags for this step. These were created by Kim of Small Moments and are available as a free download.

Put the painted frames onto the backings. The butterfly on the backing should match the color of the frame. Butterfly names can also be added to the frames if you prefer a name in addition to the color.

Remove any backing from the silver frames. Take 2 equal lengths of Natural Jute Cording and tie one to each corner at the top of the frame.

I had Kim of Small Moments create a bold striped design for the lists of guests names. A simple printed list of names will also work here.
Take the printed list and using Glue Dots® -XL attach this to the back of the frame. Then hang the completed frame onto the pegboard using the pegboard hooks.

Evenly space and hang the remaining framed table seating lists. Above each list attach the matching framed butterfly. The framed butterfly is very light and can be attached using Glue Dots® -XL.
The matching framed butterfly is placed on the guest table as the "table number".

The finished Butterfly Seating Chart is displayed on a table at your bridal shower venue. Add florals, moss and a vintage butterfly print to complete the look. It also provides a bold and colorful backdrop for displaying your favors.
I just love the fun & whimsy these table numbers brought to my Vintage Butterfly Inspired Bridal Shower and I am sure they will look just as fabulous at your bridal shower!
