Begin by measuring a piece of White Burlap Roll so it is long enough to fit around the base of your chair. We measured ours to 18″ x 5″. Cut a piece of Cotton Rickrack Trim that is the same length as your burlap and Glue it down to the middle of the strip. We made purple, pink, green and blue chair backers to fit our Easter playdate color palette, but feel free to use any color you like!
Cut out two bunny ear shapes from the White Burlap Roll that are approximately 4″ long. Take the Polka Dot Craft Pieces that match the color Rickrack you chose and then cut out two, smaller bunny ear shapes. Hot glue the Polka Dot ear shapes onto the burlap ear shapes.
Overlap the bottom left corner of the one ear over the bottom right corner of the other ear and glue together.
Add a line of hot glue to the bottom of the overlapped ears and glue it to the back, top, center of the burlap strip. Take a Clip-On Furry Bunny Tail and cut the clip portion off. Place a large drop of hot glue on the back of the bunny tail and then adhere it to the center of the burlap strip.
Add Glue Dots to both ears and on either side of burlap and stick the chair backer to your chair. You now have the cutest, little bunny chair backer!
These made for an adorable piece of decor at our Easter Playdate! Make sure to check out our Easter Playdate, DIY Easter Egg Canvas and Bunny Bait Recipe for even more Easter inspiration!
