Start by loosely wrapping your Boxwood Garland around the Buffalo check plate and cutting to the basic dimensions of the plate.
At the spot the garland intersects, wrap a few inches of string around each end and tie tightly to secure.
First, to give your wreath some extra strength, I attached two plain white paper plates to the back of my Buffalo Check plate with hot glue. I didn't want to waste the loveliness of those Buffalo plates, so plain white ones work perfectly!
Next, cut about 6" of floral wire and wrap it around the Boxwood Garland in three spots. Twist the floral wire and secure it to the back side of your plates with hot glue. This keeps your garland perfectly in place!
Next we will add the Elegant Christmas Star ornament to the wreath! Cut about 8" of floral wire and secure the center of it to your ornament with hot glue. Once it is dry, place the ornament on your wreath and pull the wire through the garland. Twist once or twice and again secure the remaining wire on the backside of your plates with hot glue.
Remove a few festive red Geranium stems and glue them into the lower half of your wreath.
Cut a piece of green satin ribbon and loop. Adhere the ribbon to the backside of the plate with hot glue. I added glue in two different spots for extra holding power.
Style your new Buffalo Check wreath with a few white and cream Christmas Sisal trees and you have a simple and elegant holiday scene!
