Start your DIY British Flag Tea Pot Centerpiece by coating the front of your DIY Ceramic Tea Pot in the white acrylic paint. Allow the paint to fully dry.

Next, take your painter’s tape and begin to tape off the stripes of the flag. We made our vertical and horizontal stripes a bit thicker than the diagonal ones. Once you are finished taping, the tape should form a star burst type shape.

Now, using your blue acrylic paint and the foam brush from your Paintbrush Super Value Pack and paint all uncovered areas of the tea pot and allow to dry completely. We applied two coats to ensure the ceramic was fully covered.

Now that your blue paint is fully dry, tape off the areas on the diagonal for your red paint, leaving adequate white space on each side. Paint the area with the red krackle paint.

Now that the red diagonal portion is completely dry, remove the tape to reveal your red stripes!

Add some tape to create your horizontal red stripe and paint your stripe. Be sure to allow the paint to fully dry.

Now that your red paint is fully dry, remove the horizontal tape strips to reveal the horizontal stripe.
