Print the free download for the “Spooky” letters. You can cut out each letter, leaving about 3/4″ on the sides. This will help the stripes to stay even around the letters. Cut a triangle out of each letter at the bottom to make a pennant. Using a standard hole punch, add a hole to each side of the letter pennant on the top.

You will need to grab 3 white tulle pom-poms and 3 black tulle pom-poms.
Open each pom-pom up by spreading it out like a fan. Use your hot glue gun to glue the open sides at either end together. This will create a pom-pom circle. It helps to hold each glued end for at least 30 seconds after gluing. Press the circle flat, so that it creates more of a wheel, not a ball. Cut off the string or ribbon hanging from the pom-poms.

Alternate black and white when adding your letters. Hot glue each letter pennant to the front of the pom-pom wheels. You won’t need to use too much glue. Just leave a little space at the top of the letters to run a thin ribbon through the punched out holes.

String your letters across black and white ribbon. I just added mine slowly so the paper wouldn’t tear.
Tip: Leave some ribbon at the beginning and end of your garland, so that you can hang it on your mantle.

I love how the “Spooky” Garland looks on my Black and white Halloween Mantel. You can also hang this garland on a mirror, porch, doorway, or entryway table.
I love it! This makes me so excited for Halloween!
