Add wild bird seed to a craft tray. Spread it out evenly in a thick layer.

Using scissors or a knife, cut a slit in the middle or at the bottom of a craft roll. We recommend an adult to help with this step. Then repeat this step on the opposite side of the craft roll. You should have two slits, about 3/4 inch on both sides.

Place a colorful craft stick through each slit, going through the other side of the craft roll. This will help you check and see if the cut is wide enough. After testing, remove the craft stick from the craft roll.

Using the back of a spoon, spread peanut butter all around the craft roll. Cover completely in a smooth and thin layer.

Roll each peanut butter covered craft roll in the wild bird seed. Press firmly to cover the entire roll.

In your craft tray, add the craft sticks back into the craft roll. Look inside to help guide you to the slits in the sides. The craft sticks should fit perfectly.

Add ribbon to the bird feeder to hang. Add ribbon on the top of the vertical feeder, and add ribbon through the center of the horizontal feeder.
