Get started by removing 20 of your favorite pages from the Batman™ Hush Coloring Book using scissors. Be sure to keep your edges neat. You can easily customize the size of your backdrop by removing fewer or cutting additional coloring pages from the book. Once you have trimmed all of your coloring pages from the Batman™ Hush Coloring Book, start coloring in pops of yellow and blue throughout the pages of the coloring book using the blue and yellow Sharpie® markers from the Sharpie® Fine Point Marker pack.

Now that you have added color to all of your coloring pages, add a few pieces of double stick tape to the back of each coloring page. Begin to adhere them to the foam poster board and hang your backdrop above a table using wall-safe 3M™ strips.

Now it’s time to start creating the DIY Bat Signal for the middle of the backdrop! Start by cutting out a large oval from the Black Gossamer and adhere it to the backdrop using a bit of double stick tape.

Next, trace half of an oval onto 2 sheets of yellow Bright Self-Adhesive Foam Sheets. Make sure this oval is slightly smaller than the oval you trimmed out of the Black Gossamer. Line these up next to one another, remove the paper backing and layer them over the black oval.

Once the yellow oval is in place, add the classic bat signal symbol to the ovals. Start by printing out our free template here. Trim the template out and then trace it onto a black Bright Self-Adhesive Foam Sheet. Cut out the shape of the bat signal.

Remove the paper backing and layer your bat onto the yellow and black oval portion of the backdrop.

We wanted to add a unique Gotham City feel to our backdrop, and Large City Skyscraper Cupcake Stands were the perfect addition to the backdrop! Not only are they a great way to add a creative detail to the backdrop but they are functional too!

Next, fill Yellow Solid Color Pails with black crinkle paper. Add a batman sticker or decal to the front and add Yellow Swirl Lollipops. This is a fun way to display sweets! Add your pails to the cupcake stands.

Layer your dessert table with Black and White Striped Gossamer and add a Tissue Ball garland to the front of the table. We tied multiple colors of tissue balls together to create this modern table element.

Add Yellow Tissue Hanging Fans to each corner of your dessert table by adding a sticker or a decal to the front.

Fill candy buckets with Blue Chocolate Candies as a bright pop of blue to the table.

Lastly, add some cute cookies and a Batman themed cake and enjoy your Epic Batman Birthday Party!
