To begin, do an image search of agate pictures online and find one that you like. You'll use this picture as inspiration while you paint. Squeeze a bit of Classic Green, Lime Green, Aqua, and White Acrylic Paint onto a disposable plate. Add small drops of water to each pile of paint to thin it out just a bit. Dip a paint brush into the colors to create a shade similar to the one in the center of the agate image you've chosen. Paint this color into a small, irregular circle in the center of a Marble Glass Coaster.

Continue mixing shades of paint and creating "rings" around the center circle that you painted. There is no rhyme or reason here, and irregular lines will end up looking quite natural when you're all done! Just be sure that you continue to add drops of water to your paint palette so that each ring of paint kind of flows into the next. Continue adding rings until the entire top of the coaster is covered. Allow to dry.

Once the paint is all dry, squeeze a bit of FolkArt® Glitterific™ Gold Acrylic Paint onto the disposable plate. Referring to the agate image that you've chosen, apply very small lines of this paint where you see natural sparkle in your image. Less is more here. I know it's super pretty, but using too much gold paint won't look very realistic. Allow to dry.

Once the glitter paint is dry, place the coaster on an inverted disposable cup. Use a paint brush to apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to the outside edge of the marble coaster.

Working quickly and carefully, press a Gold Foil Leaf Sheet onto the wet Mod Podge, pressing it gently with a clean, dry paint brush to adhere it. Allow to dry completely.

When the Mod Podge has dried completely, use a clean, dry paintbrush to brush off the excess gold foil leaf. Now take a quick minute to admire your work. Aren't they gorgeous?!
