Start this project by spraying your glass vases with your favorite gold spray paint and allow to dry. The paint also helps the acorns adhere better than just on the glass.

NOTE: In hindsight I should have done this step earlier. Before gluing your acorns to the vase, paint the nut portion with a fun acrylic paint color. Using a glue gun, adhere artificial acorns to your painted vase. Start at the bottom of your vase and work your way up.

I decided to do just two or three rows of acorns and let the remaining gold vase show.

As mentioned in Step 2, it is best to paint the acorns prior to adhering to the vase. However, I painted mine after they were on the vase (so it is possible, just harder). I painted each row a different color with cheerful acrylic paint!

Once your vase has completely dried, you can style it with all kinds of fun items! I used black and white striped napkins, coral tassel garlands and three colors of tissue papers (hot pink, coral and orange). Enjoy!
