We used the Ultimate Tie Dye kit for the dye. Simply open the dye packets and pour into plastic bins with water. Stir to dissolve the dye powder.
Now it's time to dye some wood beads! Simply drop the beads into the dye bath and let sit in dye for about five minutes. Remove the beads with a plastic spoon. Place onto a paper plate to dry.
Time to put on the rubber gloves and dye some frames. On this frame we dipped each side into the dye bath. You only need to hold it in the dye for 30 seconds. This will give a uniform color on each side.
You can also just hold one side in the dye bath to give a "dipped dye" look.
You can also use the dye as you would paint. Grab a sponge brush and add color to the wood.
Now it is time to add some wood beads. Wood glue works like a charm. Add beads to the front of frames and also the top. Allow to dry.
Download and print the Free Printable Wall Art that fit into the rectangle and square frames. Cut the prints from card stock paper.
Place the free printables inside the frames and display on the wall.
