Wrap the wreath form with black ribbon, overlapping slightly as you go. Secure in place with a dab of hot glue.

Start adding the skull eggs to the wreath in a random manner with a dab of hot glue on the back of the egg. Hold the egg in place for a few seconds until the glue sets. Work your way around the wreath, being sure to also add eggs to the side of the wreath. It’s OK if there are a few gaps between the eggs. You can fill those in with the flower clips.

Add hot glue to the back of each flower clip and place around the wreath. Use the flowers to cover any gaps between the skull eggs.

Time to turn the skulls into Day of the Dead sugar skulls! Use fine point Sharpie markers to draw colorful designs on some of the skulls. No need to color them all, just as many as you want in order to add some color to your wreath. You can also decorate the skull eggs before gluing them to the wreath, but I chose to color them afterwards.

The wreath looks great hung over a mirror, and would really pop on a black door or wall as well!
