Download the Free Date Night Idea Board Printable Templates here, which includes both of the shapes you'll need to form the idea pockets, as well as a heart that you'll use later to write date night ideas on. Print the template onto 8 1/2" x 11" White Cardstock, and cut each of the three shapes out with scissors.

Trace the two idea pocket shapes (one looks like a square and the other looks like a rectangle) onto sheets of coordinating Full Color Spectrum Paper using a pencil.

Cut out the traced shapes, and pair them up in a colorblock pattern you like. Glue each pair of paper sheets together using Aleene's® Original Tacky Glue® as you see demonstrated here. Note that you'll want to line up the edges before gluing. Allow the pockets to dry completely for one hour before handling.

While you wait on the pockets to dry, trace the heart shape you cut out in Step 1 onto another coordinating colored sheet from the paper pack. Trace at least as many hearts as you have pockets for. Cut the traced hearts out.

If you want to, use a Sharpie® Fine Point Marker to handwrite a title at the top of a plain Flipside White Foam Board Sheet. Tip: Search the web for pretty calligraphy font ideas to copy if you want to give your board a bit of elegant flair!

Glue or tape the finished pockets to the white foam board, and then use Crayola® Fine Line Markers to write date night ideas onto the hearts you traced and cut out in Step 4. These can then be slipped into the pockets to be pulled out any day of the week when you and your honey need inspiration! If you decide to use this project for a bridal shower, display the markers in a Pint Ball Mason Jars set on a Large Galvanized Tray for party guests to use as they arrive.
