Creepy Pumpkin Halloween Decor

Do you love Halloween crafting? Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I love creating my own unique Halloween décor. Especially when I can create a decoration that can be used year after year on my mantel or as a table-top display. Believe it or not, when I was in high school I was "Goth" and I guess there's still a little bit of Goth in me because Creepy Halloween decorations are my favorite to craft. I don't like gore, but I do tend to like more of the Gothic inspired decorations for Halloween. Don't get me wrong, I love cutesy and traditional Halloween décor but when it comes to crafting for Halloween, I vote for the edgy stuff! I'm excited to share how you can transform a foam pumpkin into a Creepy Pumpkin with just a few steps.

60 to 70 min. Intermediate

Step 1

Mix 2 parts Mod Podge and 1 part water in a glass bowl. Dip a piece of Stretchable Spider Webs in the bowl.

Step 2

Spread the webs to cover the entire pumpkin and let dry.

Step 3

Once the webs have dried, apply a coat of Black Paint to the pumpkin and let dry.

Step 4

Next, hot glue the Barbed Wire and the hands from the Black Bag Of Bones to the pumpkin.

Step 5

Using a drill or rotary tool, drill a large hole on the bottom of the skull. Make sure to make it large enough to fit over the stem of the pumpkin.

Step 6

Apply hot glue around the hole of the skull and set on top of the pumpkin so that the stem goes through the hole.

Step 7
