Use a paint brush to apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to the bottom half of the Ceramic Pumpkin Trinket Box lid. Use vertical strokes, and don't be afraid to let them be a little uneven...it will add some visual interest to the finished product!

Position a copper foil leaf sheet over the Mod Podge and gently press to adhere. Be careful to press and not rub, as rubbing may remove some of the foil leaf.

Tear off any excess leaf that's hanging from the edges and let dry completely. Rinse and dry the paint brush.

Once the copper foil leaf is completely dry, use the dry brush to brush off any loose pieces.

Enter the names of your guests into the free printable PDF to create your place cards. Use scissors to cut out the printable leaves and place cards. Download the free Place Card Printable here.

Use a small hole punch to punch a hole through the leaves and name cards.

String baker's twine through the hole and knot one end to secure the two pieces together. Leave the other end a few inches long.

Tuck the excess string inside the box.

Add a little treat inside the boxes to surprise your guests and cover up the string. We used a nut mix, but mints or small candies would be fun, too! To ensure this project is food safe only use individually wrapped food or candies. Place the copper-accented lid on top, and you're all done!
