Download the Free Template. Print and cut out the fish craft template. Use a pencil to trace the pieces of the template on white, blue and tan cardstock. When tracing the fishbowl template, trace the first half of the fishbowl on your white cardstock. Then flip it over, line it up to the half you just traced, and trace the other half of the fishbowl.

Cut out the traced template pieces. Use a glue stick to glue the water on top of the fishbowl. Then glue the sand at the bottom of the water.

Gather your paint chip circles to create fish. You will need two paint chip circles per fish. Cut one of the paint chip circles in half. Then cut one of those halves in half again. Discard one of the quarter pieces. Glue the half circle at the back of the second paint chip circle. Then glue the quarter piece on the body of the fish to make a fin. Make three fish for the inside of your fishbowl.

Glue each of the three paint chip circle fish onto the fishbowl.

Cut a few green tissue paper squares in half. Crinkle up the sections to make water plants. Add lines of school glue at the bottom of the fishbowl and place the crinkled tissue paper on the glue to create water plants for your fish craft.

Glue a googly eye on each of your fish. Then use a black marker to draw a circle fish mouth on each of your fish.

Open your white paint and pour a small amount onto a white paper plate. Dip the end of a paper straw into the white paint and then press it onto your water to create a fish bubble. Continue dipping the straw in paint and printing it on your fishbowl, around your fish, to create several fish bubbles.

Your colorful fish craft is complete! For added fun, cut out small rocks from your cardstock to add to the bottom of your fishbowl or glue on gold sequins to look like shimmery sand at the bottom of your fishbowl. You can also add additional details to your fish with markers.
