Using a Sponge Paintbrush and acrylic paint, dry brush the slats of two DIY Unfinished Wood Large Rustic Narrow Signs in different colors. We chose to paint ours the fun tropical colors of yellow, magenta, orange and light aqua.
Once the paint is dry, place the two painted signs next to each other. Place your knobs and hooks onto the wood shelves and arrange them how you would like. Use a pencil to mark where the knobs and hooks will go and drill holes into the sign.
Apply a line of wood glue along the top of both of the shelves and screw a 44”long x 6”wide x ½" thick piece of wood.
Attach the piece of wood to the shelves using a drill and screws making sure your hook and knob drilled holes are on the bottom of the shelf.
Screw your hooks and knobs into the shelf. Attach sawtooth hangers to the back of the shelf to hang.
