Start this project by adding colorful dots of acrylic paint to each of your glass terrariums. I kept the polka dots on the lower portion of the terrarium so you could more easily see the butterflies.

Next, take a butterfly and bend the wire it comes on, in half. Once the wire is bent, stick it into a green grass ball. I added just a dab of hot glue to the back of the butterfly for extra strength.

Next, you can start putting the butterflies on the outside of your terrarium! Gently pull the wire off the back of your butterfly and add a dab of hot glue to keep your butterfly in place.

Next, fill your terrarium with a small amount of white decorative sand and insert the grass ball and butterflies!

Add a few moss rocks and some colorful garlands and you can sit back and enjoy your colorful butterfly terrariums ... perfect for spring and summer displays!
