Use acrylic craft paint and a foam brush to apply 1-2 coats of paint to the inside of each tray.

Paint the outside of each tray with craft paint. I chose to use two different colors for each tray for a fun effect! Just use care when painting along the top edge of the tray to create a clean separation between the two colors.

Use colored pencils to decorate the letters however you like. This is a great step to do in front of the TV or when you want a little adult coloring relaxation time!

Carefully cut out the letters with scissors.

Add an even layer of Mod Podge® (I used glossy Mod Podge) to the back of the letter with a foam brush.

Position the letter in the center of the tray and smooth down with your fingers. Apply an even coat of Mod Podge® across the entire inside surface of the tray. This will seal the letter to the tray and help protect the tray from wear and tear. Once dry, repeat with a second coat of Mod Podge.

Your pretty tray is ready to be put to use or given as a gift!
