
Choose which Christmas Cactus Ornament you want to use to make your Christmas card and open up the craft kit. Use the instructions included with the kit to assemble your cactus ornament.

Cut out the circle included in the Christmas card template for the inside of the card. Trace the circle on a piece of blue cardstock and then cut it out. Open up your Christmas card and use a glue stick to glue the blue circle on the inside of the card so it shows through the open window on the front of the card.

Lay out the different colors of your classic stamp pad set around your Christmas card. Children stamp their fingerprint in one of the stamp pad colors and then place their fingerprint around the edge of the front of the Christmas card. Continue stamping all the different colors around the perimeter of the card so it looks like colorful Christmas lights.

Use a black marker to draw swirly lines between each of your fingerprints to connect the Christmas lights together around the perimeter of the Christmas card.

Another alternative to creating the Christmas lights is to start by drawing a swirly line around the perimeter of the Christmas card with your black marker. Then have children use the classic stamp pad set to add colorful fingerprints on top of the black line around the perimeter of the card.

Open up your Christmas card and place your cactus Christmas ornament in the middle of your blue circle so it shows through the window of the card. Cut off a piece of red washi tape and use it to tape your cactus ornament in place on your card.
